OH-MA-GAWD...THAT'S SO GAY. TOTALLY.

They say we were all made in God's image. If that is so, I guess God must've had a lot of faces while he was shaping us. I guess God is a good and a fair man as he made us all different. Some tall, some short, some slim, some wide and most importantly, some with brains and others...without. I have heard about kids saying the darndest things and they usually make you laugh or make you go 'AWWW' but have you heard about this thing called STRAIGHTS SAYS THE STUPIDEST THING? It often happen when you are a gay person living in a homophobic society. I have heard a lot about what the typical stereotype of gays are but I have never come across one that totally got me turning table. I was told, among many other things...this;

"GAYS BROUGHT HIV/AIDS UPON THE WORLD"

If that is not the stupidest thing I have heard in my life, I don't know what is. To say gays brought HIV/AIDS to the world is like saying STRAIGHT people is the cure to every diseases. Make no mistake that GAYS are not a problem and being the homosexual community certainly did not invented HIV/AIDS and passed it around like a baton. Straight people are prone to HIV/AIDS as much as gays are and the irony of this is that gays do tend to practice safe sex more than the straights. We are gay but that doesn't mean we want to die because we are gay. We might die from car crash, terminal illness, natural causes, extreme rate of bitchiness but certainly not because we are gay. HIV/AIDS is transmitted through body fluid that are exchange during intercourse, especially bared ones. It doesn't mean just because gays practice anal sex that gays are the only ones subjected to receive our heavenly Father's punishment of HIV/AIDS. There are straight, mainstream people who practices bareback and anal sex as well out of curiosity. So, to label the gay community as the group that brought HIV/AIDS to the world is unacceptable. We are not a disease nor are we a problem to society. The problem lies within the amount of ignorance straight people has. And if anything, the disease should be HOMOPHOBIA. It's a social disease.

"If homosexuality is a disease, let's all call in queer to work: "Hello. Can't work today, still queer."

GAYS ARE PEOPLE TOO.
WE JUST DON'T SHARE THE SAME TASTE AS YOU.

More often than not, we have far better taste in just about everything because we are more aware. We are people too. We are homosapiens. We are human. Straight people tend to look at gays and the only thing in their mind is anal sex. Why do you have the need to label and stereotype us into anal sex only? We are worth more than anal sex and our asses definitely worth more than yours. Gays have been labelled for generations and with every labeling, it gets worse. Who are you to call us ABNORMAL? What is NORMAL? Is normal according to your definition? Even if the dictionary explains what is normal, why would you want to live your life based on a dictionary? If normal is the way to live life, I suggest you take a plunge from a skyscrapper. I'll even serenade you with Demi Lovato on your way down. Is it justifiable for us to call you ABNORMAL because your lifestyle is different from us? Just because you are mainstream and we're the alternative don't mean we are abnormal. There will always be deviance in life and it is up to one's maturity how they define it. If you look at it, there are plenty of gay people who are successful in life much like the straights. And more often than not, we know where we want to go in life and our dreams.

"There's this illusion that homosexuals have sex and heterosexuals fall in love. That's bullshit. Everybody wants to be loved."

NO, THERE IS NO SUCH THING.

There is no such thing as you as a straight person unable to accept gays and yet you go around saying that you have a gay friend. If you can't accept gays as they are, you surely don't deserve having someone who is gay in your life because we don't want to waste our time being friendly to people who are fake. It is just the same as me saying I don't condone the lifestyle of straight people or that I don't respect your straight lifestyle but I have about 80% of straight friends in my life. How sickening is it that a guy wants to see two girls having sex but is against homosexuality? Gays are not only men with men. By now, someone should hand me a handycam and make me the next DAVEY WAVEY. Probably need at least a 4 pack to be like DW.

IT'S NOT A GAME, IT'S AN INSULT.

If a straight does not condone to a gay person's lifestyle, then do not insult him/her further by playing 'act gay'. It is not a funny thing. It is actually quite insulting. There's always the situation of two straight guys 'playing gay' with each other, touching each other and deem it as 'how and what gays would do'. You also do not touch a gay when you are a homophobes and when the gay respond back in a playful manner for the sake of fun, you get so terrified that you start to claim boundaries. Now, that is just plain idiotic. Gays are not a pariah bunch of people like what straight people think. We do not make a career out of turning straights into gays. We have a proper job and a happy life [sans the idiotic straights]. So, the next time you think it's funny, think again. We may laugh and tell you it's funny but that's because we do not want to bore you with our knowledge and also we do not want to bore ourselves trying to educate you.

"THE BIBLE says that God disapprove of homosexuals. The Bible also tells people how daughters slept with their father to reproduce, how men was wiped out of the world because they grew disobedient, how fathers were willing to sacrifice their sons just to prove something. They say GOD is Almighty and Forgiving and he accepts everyone as they are."
