LA VANILLE CUPCAKES & MACARONS

Along the tiny stretch of Hutton Lane, a dainty little cafe has pop up. It's called La Vanille Cupcakes & Macarons and it has turquoise as it's main color theme. The cafe has been operating for few months and the cafe left a lasting impression during my first trip there.

Normally, parking in Hutton Lane are quite hard to look for but for all the 3 visits there, me and my friend got to park directly infront of the cafe. Stepping into the cafe, there's this homely feel about it. It's cozy, chilly and quiet. It feels a little vintage, a little country but thank God there were no Taylor Swift album on repeat.

They don't have like a binded menu, instead you order directly at the counter after deciding on your menu which is a chalk board right above the counter. The selection of food is not too bad but there are more drinks to choose from if we're comparing. I kept coming back for the Spaghetti Bolognaise, Popcorn Chicken and Liquorice Mint Tea. YES, the moment I saw LIQUORICE, there's no holding me back.

Macarons aren't my thing so I passed on that but my friend did tried out the Rose flavored macarons and I guess there were good considering she left the place feeling happy. The cupcakes on the other hand, looks great but were a tad bit dry on the inside. The cupcakes comes in different flavors. The flavors are Chocolate, Coffee, Coconut, Blueberry, Strawberry and Mango. Not sure if I left out any other flavors. The Peach Cake was very nice. One thing great about their desserts is that they are not overly sweet that you go "ugh!" Food's good, service is friendly and fast.

Plus points to the place for giving the Max Black and Caroline Channing vibes from 2 Broke Girls.
